Abstract

|
|
Suprapubic catheterization (SC) is a commonly performed urological procedure. Some of the risks of SC include bowel perforation, bladder stones’ formation, bladder spasm, urinary tract infection, and bleeding. Incisional hernia through the SC site is extremely rare. We report an extremely rare case of incisional hernia at the SC site in a female patient that was surgically repaired with mesh placement.
